Peter de Gouw (Director)
Pete has been building in Canterbury since 1977 and to this day remains passionate about the industry. Despite keeping a low profile, Home Trends Builders have been awarded a number of Registered Master Builders‘House of the Year’ awards.
He attributes the success of his medium-sized building company to his dedication to following any job through from start to finish and delivering a quality product on time as promised.
Peter is a Licensed Building Practitioner with both Site 1 and 2 licences and is experienced in running small to large jobs. He also has a NZCB and a NZCHS.
Elaine de Gouw (Administration Support Manager)
Elaine has been associated with Home Trends Builders since 2009 and her background in event co-ordination and client liaison compliment the human resource and public face of the company.
Elaine’s thoroughness and efficiency is appreciated by our clients. Elaine is also responsible for our social media, interior design and social club events.
Lonnae Harris (Office Manager)
Lonnae has been with the company since 2002 and efficiently manages all aspects of the busy office. Along with handling debtors, creditors and payroll, she also ensures all Health and Safety requirements are met by the whole team.
Lonnae is a highly valued member of the HTB team.
Marc Anderson (Site Foreman)
Marc is a loyal, passionate and enthusiastic member of our team. He has over 15 years of building experience and joined the HTB team in 2015.
Marc has vast experience in the role of foreman and after the Christchurch Earthquakes worked as an EQC estimator and also at Fletcher EQR.
Marc has won a gold award in the CRMBA House of The Year competition for 2 years running, followed by 3 silver awards. Marc is also a Licensed Building Practitioner.
Clem Duval (Site Foreman)
Clem is the newest member to join the HTB Site Foreman team.
He started with us in 2017 and brings with him over 7 years’ experience in the NZ Defence Force having worked in Niue, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and the Cook Islands constructing new facilities and providing humanitarian assistance.
Clem excels in both new builds and alterations. He is also a Licensed Building Practitioner. 2020 & 2021 have proved to be winning years for Clem, bringing home 3 Gold awards in CRMBA House of The Year competition and 2 Top 100 Awards for his builds in Merivale.
